The Benefits of Therapy

Often people come to therapy looking for a “fix,” under the impression that if they just think more positively, their lives will magically align. I’m not here to tell you that you’re perfect or to sell you a “wonderful” version of yourself. Nor is my role fixer —it’s to help you identify the specific, often hidden factors that are keeping you stuck.
I listen differently. While we talk, I’m paying attention to what’s being said—and what isn’t. My background in brief therapy, complex clients and training in somatic awareness means I’m constantly looking for the “lead domino”: the one belief, habit, or physiological pattern that, if addressed, allows everything else to shift.
